About This Activity
Welcome to the summer edition of our School of Green Witchcraft! This week long journey will be as fun as it is enriching. Our intention is to create a magical cauldron for the girls to build deep friendships within. Through sensory awareness and group challenges we will build trust in the group. Nature connection and primitive skills exercises will empower girls to enhance their confidence. Our days will consist of songs, stories, skits, poetry, and tons of giggles! We will be exploring the beautiful connection between humans and plants through the lens of Herbalism. Girls will create their own nature-based apothecaries, using local herbs. Our intention is to inspire girls on a lifelong journey of utilizing nature for healing. Local herbalist, Laura Parker. Laura studied the “Wise Woman Tradition” with esteemed Herbalist, Susun Weed. We are grateful for the extensive knowledge that she will imbue into this class! This is an Adventure camp! Students will be dropped off at our Powell Plains Location and we will drive them to a different location each day near a river where we can explore the plant life.
