Picture yourself as a courageous adventurer with the ability to traverse diverse worlds adorned with unique plant and animal life. Envision your mission: unraveling the mysteries of life across the cosmos. In this extraordinary week of camp, teenagers will embark on a thrilling journey to a different celestial destination each week, immersing themselves in the experience of arriving on a brand-new planet every time. Central Oregon has a diverse range of ecosystems and we will venture to a new landscape each day. Anticipate invigorating hikes, the acquisition of invaluable skills, collaborative group challenges, and ample moments for relaxation, listening to captivating tales spun by our very own Dreamer and savoring the otherworldly landscapes. Gain insights directly from Dreamer in an exclusive teen group setting, where he imparts wisdom on surviving in various challenging conditions. The pinnacle of the week awaits on Friday night, where we will gather for a celestial spectacle of stargazing accompanied by enthralling cosmic stories. Join us for what promises to be our most awe-inspiring camp yet! Students Will: • Embark on arduous hikes amidst breathtaking scenery • Acquire new and valuable nature skills • Participate in engaging group challenges • Learn about constellations and celestial wonders • Enjoy the awe of stargazing while listening to epic galactic tales Make Note of Unique class times for this offering: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Drop off at Rosie Bareis Community Center Drop-off window: 8:45am-9:00am Pick-up window: 3:15pm-3:30pm Stargazing Friday from 5:00pm-10:30pm (Drop off window 4:45pm-5:00pm at Mystic Mesa) (Pickup Window at Specified Badlands Location 10:30pm-10:45pm) Pick up Location at Badlands will be sent to you the week of camp.
