Calling all wild-hearted creators and adventurers! This week at camp is packed with unforgettable experiences—from high-energy games and outdoor exploration to hands-on primitive skills that connect us to the natural world. One day, we’ll set off on a rockhounding adventure, hunting for agates, jasper, and obsidian in the high desert. Another day, we’ll dive into the ancient art of leather tanning, using ivory soap to transform weasel pelts into soft, usable leather—perfect for adding flair to wizard staffs or wild-crafted gear. Campers will also learn traditional skills like twining and knot-making, all while soaking up the signature Wildheart blend of creativity, play, and magic. It’s a week to get dirty, get inspired, and reconnect with the wild through movement, making, and meaningful adventure. Students Will: -Create a primitive craft such as leather, natural dyed fabric, salve or rattle -Learn the basics of wildcrafting -Learn how create twine from plant fiber -Practice plant identification for medicinal and crafting use
