About This Activity
Class will be held at SKYLINER LODGE Monday throught Thursday, and at TUMALO STATE PARK of Friday June 20th. Students will embark on an exciting journey into the art of stealth, mastering the skills of silent observation—whether it's animals or fellow adventurers. They will cultivate a deep connection with the Earth, honing their ability to listen to nature's whispers. Camouflage is a vital skill for all Juniper Jedis, and we'll dedicate significant time to perfecting the art of becoming virtually invisible in our surroundings. Additionally, students will learn to interpret the subtle communications of birds, gaining a unique perspective on their environment. This will help them stay attuned to the movements of both prey and potential predators. Amid all this focused learning, we'll also embrace the joy of play, for every Juniper Jedi knows that having fun is just as important as mastering skills. Join us to discover how to sense the forces of nature and become a true extension of the forest! Students Will: • Practice the skill of quietly observing animals and people • Explore bird language to connect with the Earth's hidden rhythms • Develop effective camouflage techniques • Create personalized camouflage using natural materials
