About This Activity
Description
Welcome to the Barracudas Swim Team! We are a year around swim team that is a recreational swim team that is for children ages 6 to 15 years old. The team works to improve their strokes, starts, turns, and finishes in a non-competitive, team oriented environment.
In order to qualify for the Barracudas Swim Team, the swimmer must be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke with proper technique continuously without stopping and be ready for more.
Tryouts are required for all new Barracudas and Barracudas who did not participate in the prior season. A link to register for a tryout time is included in your registration receipt.
Practices are divided by skill and endurance. The coaches will inform parents after tryouts on a specific practice time for the season. If unable to meet swim requirements at the tryout time, an alternate program will be suggested.
Parents will not be allowed on deck during practice. Please make sure that if you have been running a fever or ill in anyway to please not attend practice until all symptoms have been gone for 48 hours.
