Coach Pitch Junior Baseball - Ages 6-7 Years Old
Wednesdays, May 12-June 16)
Games are 5:15pm and 6:30pm
Games will be played at
Veterans Memorial Park (Fields 1, 2, and 3) and at Edgewood Park
OBJECTIVES: To learn and improve basic softball or baseball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while having FUN! For many children, this is their first experience in these sports, and we want to make sure it is a positive one! Scores and team records will not be kept.
KEEP IN MIND: This program relies solely on volunteers to coach its teams. Please consider being a part of your child’s experience. Parents help determine the success of our programs. All participants MUST meet the age requirements by their respective coaches meetings. Team, player, and coach requests will not be honored. Times may change due to participant enrollment.
NEEDED: IT STARTS WITH PARKS blue/orange reversible jersey MUST be worn and can be purchased at the Life Fitness Center (2222 Middle Road) for $20. Shirts can be used for any future parks & recreation program. All participants MUST have this shirt in order to play in the games. Participants must provide their own glove and may bring their own bats/helmets, however Bettendorf Parks and Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
REGISTRATION: For all divisions, registration runs Feb 22-Apr 4. Early bird rates apply Feb. 22-Mar 28. Standard rates apply Mar 29-Apr 4. Register online at www.bettendorf.org/register. Please call 563-344-4113 if you have any questions.
COACHES MEETINGS: (All meetings are held at the Life Fitness Center, 2222 Middle Road, Bettendorf)

Teams will be created based on previous teams, and schools. Requests for players or coaches will NOT be granted. *PLEASE NOTE: Players will NOT hear anything until AFTER coaches meeting.
COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES: Participants will physically distanced during the paint party, and each participant will receive their own painting materials. Increased cleaning and disinfecting protocols will be in place. Parents are welcome to stay during the paint party, however all attendees are encouraged to wear a face covering. If a participant or a member of their family is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have been exposed to a person that has tested positive for COVID-19, are awaiting test results, or have received a positive test result, they are not permitted to attend the event. Credits or refunds will not be issued for COVID-19 related absences.
