About This Activity
Successful completion of Beginning Sailing is required before moving to Advanced Beginner. Our certified instructors will get you out on the water sailing our Pixel & Opti sailboats and on your way to having fun fast. They will reinforce the basics of sailing and build on the skills learned in our beginning class to improve knowledge of sailing and skills on the water. Emphasis is placed on safety, terminology, fundamentals of small boat handling, and seamanship through classroom work and on-the-water activities. All classes are taught by Certified US Sailing Instructors. Teen Classes are geared to students aged 12-17. You must have basic swimming skills. Well fitting personal flotation device (PFD) and closed toe shoes must be brought and worn during each class
