About This Activity
An Advanced Improv Laboratory for the Lifelong Improviser Improv is not something you “finish.” It’s a practice—one that deepens, sharpens, and evolves the longer you stay in it. Asylum Grad Lab is Improv Asylum’s graduate-level improv program, designed for experienced improvisers who want to continue exploring, refining, and expanding their craft beyond traditional class levels. This is not about relearning fundamentals—it’s about pushing past them. Structured as an eight-week intensive, Grad Lab is built as a true laboratory: a place to experiment, stretch, and interrogate your work from multiple angles. The course is uniquely divided into four distinct two-week modules, each led by a different instructor, each bringing a specialized lens to the art of improvisation. Four Instructors. Four Perspectives. One Practice. Asylum Grad Lab isn’t the end of your training. It’s where your practice truly begins.
