Sometimes you can say something with a facial expression or an interesting physical choice before you begin to speak. Do we need to rely on saying funny things for comedy? We may be compelled to fill the scene with words and become uncomfortable with vulnerability and silence, but sometimes what we don't say is more important than what we say. Perhaps the thing that cuts through all the noise is silence and committed physical work. In this workshop, we will approach improvisation through physicality- using it to build characters and scenes before you say a word or even without saying any words at all. Wear comfortable clothes because this workshop is certain to get you moving.
