About This Activity
Bel Canto is the premier auditioned ensemble for students in 6th - 9th grades. Bel Canto (“Beautiful Singing”) singers perform in 2, 3 and 4 part harmony in treble voices while working to develop strong musicianship and music theory skills. They perform at all BCC concerts, the Holiday Concert and several community outreach events each season. They are also often featured in performances by the Boulder Chorale’s adult ensembles. Bel Canto operates as an academic-year program. There is the expectation that your Singer will participate from August - May. If you chose the payment plan, you will pay 10% of yearly tuition, and the remaining 9 payments will be due in August, Sept, Oct, Nov, December 2025, Jan, Feb, March, and April 2026. Treble Voices only (female and unchanged non-binary and male voices). Must audition if new. If a returning Singer, no need to reaudition.
