About This Activity
Description
Adult w/ Child Level 2
Ages 18 months - 3 years
Children build water confidence while beginning to develop early independence skills. With parent support, swimmers practice assisted floating, breath control, climbing out safely, jumping to a caregiver or instructor, and responding to simple instructions. Emphasis is placed on listening, routine, and positive participation
SKILLS: Assisted independence, breath control, safe entry/exit, listening skills, early turn-taking
