Students will be exposed to a series of dance styles such as Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, African and Caribbean. Classes will offer a fun approach to learning the basics of each style. Students will be able to try different types of choreography and perform for each other as they explore what they learn throughout the program. Elements of yoga such as various postures and meditation techniques will also be implemented into class, and students will learn the basics of yoga poses and their benefits, such as, balance, flexibility, strength, social skills and even communication, especially in partner poses!
