About This Activity
This 90-minute class is focussed on a variety of sculpting processes as a means of extending their drawing skills to 3-D creations. All projects are inspired by modern and classical artists, many of whom are Canadian. Students will build each sculptures from raw materials such as everyday objects, plastic, wire, plaster bandages, etc., and learn structural principles of sculpting as well as embossing and acrylic painting. This is not a ceramics class. There are 31 Prerequisite: Current and past students of Aliki's Art House who have completed at least one year of drawing classes or summer camps.
