About This Activity
The 13-15 Classic (Provincial) competitive program is for athletes with previous competitive artistic swimming experience. Swimmers registering for this program must be born in 2009, 2010 or 2011 (i.e., 13, 14 or 15 years of age as of December 31, 2024). The program runs from September to June, which allows for the time to develop and prepare a team routine to perform at competitive meets. The competitive meets are the highlights of the athletes’ year allowing them to show all they have learned. These athletes compete in local, regional, and provincial competitions. An opportunity to compete in an interprovincial competition is also available. Note – Athletes with no previous competitive artistic swimming experience may be considered for this program where they have previous competitive experience in another sport such as gymnastics, dance, or lane swimming. Placement of athletes with no previous competitive artistic swimming experience in this program requires the approval of the Competitive Classic Coordinator. Athletes swim out of MNP Sport Centre and training times are: Tues - 4-6:30pm Wed - 5:30-7:30am Thurs - 4-6:30pm (starting Jan/25) Fri - 4-6:30pm Sun - 10am-12:30pm
