Pre-School & Level 1: In the Pre-School Lessons, any child above the age of 2, who is just starting to learn to hold breath, float, enter the water independently, or gravitates toward the water is an ideal candidate for this level. Parents are welcome to sit on the pool deck and if needed come sit on the side of the pool with unsure 1st timers. In Level 1, swimmers will practice holding breath, using arms while on front and back float, pushing off the wall, and kicking legs in the water (Among other skills). *Goggles not required. Swimmers may bring their own goggles. No water wings, puddle jumpers, or lifejackets permitted. The Swimmer themselves are the only floatation permitted for preschool and level 1.
