About This Activity
Description
This program is designed for new swimmers interested in joining our Summer Rec Swim Teams and want to ensure they’re ready for the season. We focus on evaluating and developing swimming skills for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, giving participants a clear sense of their readiness for the summer program.Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim one lap (25 Yards) of freestyle and one lap (25 Yards) of backstroke without stopping.
Pre-requisite:
Registration is open to individuals, ages 5½ to 17 years. Participants must be able to perform the freestyle and backstroke with some proficiency.
Participants ages 5½-10, MUST be able to swim continuously for 25-yards of freestyle with rotary breathing
Participants ages 11-18, MUST be able to swim continuously for 50-yards of freestyle with rotary breathing
