Become a Youth Leader – Grow, Lead, and Make an Impact!

Ready to boost your confidence, build your resume, and make a real difference? The Youth Leader (YL) Program is an exciting, year-round opportunity for teens to grow into dynamic leaders while inspiring the next generation.

You choose the program, and your Youth Leaders work alongside experienced staff to help lead games, activities, and memorable experiences for younger participants. But it’s not just about fun—it’s about your future.

Along with the on-site programming, as part of the YL Program, you'll take part in weekly "Level Up Lab" workshops focused on essential skills like:

  • Career and College Readiness
  • Communication Skills
  • Teamwork and Leadership Practice
  • Practical Life Skills
  • Plus occasional guest speakers!

This hands-on program is perfect for teens who want to:

  • Build leadership and job-readiness skills
  • Earn volunteer or community service hours
  • Gain real-world experience in a fun and supportive environment
  • Make friends and be a positive role model

Join us for an unforgettable experience that will shape your future and leave a lasting impact on others. The Youth Leader Program isn’t just a program—it’s a stepping stone to whatever comes next.

Each Youth Leader will receive an official CARD Youth Leader shirt and be paired with a dedicated program mentor who will guide them throughout their assigned program (days/times vary based on program selection). Plus, all Youth Leaders will get to build real-life skills and confidence in our dynamic "Level Up Lab"—a fun, hands-on leadership training held every week of the session.

In addition to the "Level Up Lab" on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm, Youth Leaders paired with a dedicated on-site program mentor who will guide them throughout their assigned program (days/times vary based on program selection).
