These cooking classes will help children become inspired and confident in the kitchen. They will reinforce healthy eating habits by learning fun, easy yet healthy and delicious recipes. During these classes your child will build leadership skills, reinforce language, math and science skills through hands on cooking focused activities- but don’t tell the kids that! These classes will encourage children to take the initiative by introducing concepts like kitchen safety, basic measurement, using their listening skills and teamwork. Time spent in the kitchen at this age will foster an interest in food and food preparations to develop skills that will last a lifetime. This is a 5-week class. There is no school/no class on Monday, February 20.
