This field experience is only for teens participating as Junior Counselors (JRC). To learn about what campers might be doing during this week of camp, visit http://apm.activecommunities.com/howardcounty/Activity_Search/134286 Must be enrolled in a 2024 JRC Training Camp to register for Field Experiences. Junior Counselors are not permitted to sign up for a field experience that takes place prior to their chosen training date(s). No exceptions. No camp on 7/4. No camp on 7/4. REFUND & TRANSFER POLICY: We recognize that you may wish to withdraw for a variety of reasons, but our policy encourages early decisions so as to not affect other customers or our ability to efficiently deliver the camp. Any REFUND request received before April 15th will be processed with a 10% administrative fee withheld. From April 16th until 4 weeks prior to the camp start date, a 50% administrative fee will be withheld. There will be no refunds given for requests received less than 4 weeks prior to the camp start date except for medical reasons accompanied by a doctor’s note. A $10 TRANSFER fee will apply to any moves between field experiences. Deadline for transfer requests is 1 week prior to your registered field experience start date.
If your child will need to bring medication with them to camp, please fill out the Medication Administration Authorization Form (Camps) found by clicking here: https://www.howardcountymd.gov/recreation-parks/forms-publications. After clicking link, got to "Camps, Classes, and Activities". It requires a doctor's signature, so please allow enough time for it to be complete before the start of camp.
