About This Activity
Description
The last day for Internet Registration was Mar 29, 2024 2:00 PM.
This program is focused on combining technical skills with tactical understanding of the game to develop as a well-rounded lacrosse player, while also improving physically and psychologically in a competitive setting. Prior participation in a skills clinic or instructional league is helpful but not required. Program objectives are to teach the game of lacrosse, develop physical fitness and coordination, foster teamwork, and encourage and reinforce good sportsmanship. Teams will practice twice a week beginning in mid-March/early April. Games are played on Saturdays and an additional Wednesday night game will replace a practice later in the season. Games are played on a full-size turf field and players are generally guaranteed to play one-half of each game. Players must provide lacrosse stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow/arm pads, gloves, mouth guard and proper footwear. Player skills evaluation will take place in March, and teams are balanced based on evaluation ratings and geographic area. Volunteer coaches are paramount to the success of the program. HC LAX REFUND POLICY: A 25% administrative fee will be applied to refund requests made by Jan 16th. Refund requests between Jan 17 and Mar 1 will be honored at 50%. There are no refunds after Mar 1.
