Description
Inspire Sports is a Parks and Protectors Alliance, a unique collaboration between Columbus Division of Police, Columbus Division of Fire and Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. Inspire Sports moves beyond the game and uses sports to help youth develop the skills needed to be successful in life. Campers will also be introduced to the field of public safety, and they will learn some of the basic techniques used by officers and firefighters in the Columbus Division of Police and the Columbus Division of Fire. Campers will also tour facilities, see specialized equipment and get to know the officers and firefighters working in Columbus. There is a graduation ceremony at the end of each week, and all campers will receive a certificate.
Each day, campers will be transported from the Berliner Sports Complex to different facilities and return by 4 p.m.New Location: Berliner Sports ComplexCamp Hours 8 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday. Payment by credit card is required at time of registration. Camp Fee must be paid in full at time of registration. Payment plan is not an option for this camp.
Refund Information
To receive a refund, a request must be submitted online at ColumbusRecParks.com/Camps. You can start this process by clicking on the “Refund Policy” button. The department will not honor any refund requests submitted after May 15 unless there are extenuating or unforeseeable circumstances that arise. Refunds take six to eight weeks to process and a $15 processing fee will be assessed for each refund request.
