About This Activity
Description
Intermediate ballet dancers should have a good foundation of ballet technique from the introductory class and the beginnings of proper alignment. Ballet etiquette will be introduced and students are expected to be engaged and focused in class. Intermediate students work on developing technique, posture, vocabulary, flexibility, strength, and coordination. Turns are introduced, and steps are combined to form combinations. Ballet shoes are required. This is a performance class, students will perform in a spring recital in June. Students registering for this class will have additional costume fee responsibilities of about $75. This class is by instructor invitation only.
