Experience the power and history of America’s national mammal in this immersive program at Prairie Gateway Open Space (PGOS). Explore the remarkable comeback of the American Bison, from the brink of extinction to their vital role in Colorado's prairie ecosystems today. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.Notes: The nearest address is 6350 Gateway Road. Turn on to Gateway Road from Prairie Parkway and drive .25 miles. Look for the parking area and the restroom after the bend in the road. If you enter the Arsenal, you have gone too far. Meet at the restrooms and we will walk to the shade pavilion (0.15 miles from the restroom). Please bring water, hat, sunblock, snacks and close-toed shoes. We will be walking 1-2 miles
