The American Red Cross Lifeguard program teaches the skills and knowledge required to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid are included. Minimum enrollment is 6.
$175.00 (Residents of Conroe receives a 25% discount)This 22 hour course has pre-requisites:
- Participant must be at least 15 years of age.
- Swim 300 yards continuously in a designated order.
- Tread water for two minutes without using your hands.
- Swim 20 yards, dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back within 1 minute 40 seconds.
This 24 hour course has pre-requisites:
1) Participant must be at least 15 years of age. 2) Swim 300 yards continuously in a designated order. 3) Tread water for two minutes with using your hands. 4) Swim 20 yards, dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back within 1 minute 40 seconds.
Participants must complete an on-line portion of the course BEFORE the first meeting. Additional details will be sent to each person upon enrollment.
