About This Activity
A fun, hands-on, STEAM focused OCYL favorite, where Miss Debra nurtures curiosity, inspires creativity and engages in engineering and design thinking. Magnet sculptures, Harnessing the Wind- wind turbine design, Plinko game design, Mouse Trap inspired Contraptions. Lego Space camp and 100 cup challenges! Students are encouraged to brainstorm, design, build, test, solve problems, troubleshoot, tinker with a team and individual engineering design challenges during each weekly class. Using upcycled materials and Legos, we study simple machines, physics and scientific methods.
