About This Activity
NOTE: Students must have prior approval from the instructor to register for this level. Please register to the waitlist. Students will be moved into the class once approved. Students who have not yet participated in the OCYL program should attend the NOVICE class and will move to the next level based on instructor assessment. The Intermediate class is designed to teach the official rules, intermediate tactics & strategies of the game to those who have completed the OCYL Novice program and to those participating in chess competitions. Taught by Bob Salvas and Eduardo Paguaga, members of the United States Chess Federation, official USCF Tournament Directors and chess instructors for over 20 years each.
