About This Activity
Join this fun, art-making class as a creative & empowering way to express yourself and your emotions. Take care of yourself by identifying and expressing emotions to cope with or even transform them. Through a variety of materials and prompts, you’ll learn to use new materials and techniques that will spark your creativity! Join this relaxed, judgement-free zone where you can just be YOU! For kids with all interests. No art, music or writing experience necessary. We encourage BIPOC & LQBTQIAA+ students to participate. Note for parents/guardians: At least one social-emotional competency is embedded in every lesson including: self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness, & relationship skills. There may be therapeutic effects, but this is not intended to be group therapy or counseling.
