In this cooking camp, young chefs will learn the essential kitchen skill of mise en place - the art of preparing and organizing ingredients before cooking. Throughout the week, young chefs will work together to prepare a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks while practicing safe knife skills, measuring ingredients, following recipes, and kitchen teamwork. Each day builds confidence, independence, and an understanding of how planning leads to successful cooking. No prior cooking experience is required - just curiosity and a willingness to try new foods. Lunch is included in the tuition. Please do not send a lunch to camp.
