About This Activity
This two-day workshop led by exemplar Hockaday educators will prepare you to build a social impact course rooted in values and objectives, featuring innovative experiences, academic rigor, and dynamic teaching tools to help you and your students connect their learning in a meaningful way to their community. Workshop experiences will include: (1) Biology, Impact and the Zoo, (2) Disability Pride and Literature, (3) 7th Grade Science, (4) 8th Grade English), (5) 4th Grade CCI (Collaborate, Create, Innovate), and (6) 3rd Grade Science and Social Impact.
