About This Activity
Description
This is a two-week Drama Camp Program. Campers audition, are cast, rehearse and then perform a play. They also shoot a "mini-movie." Instructors are experienced actors and summer camp workers, assuring a rich, rewarding and FUN experience. Campers learn the process of staging a show, improvising a scene and a few "on-camera" skills. Camp includes a single performance at the Village Theatre where a play and the "mini-movie" are showcased. There is a $20 materials fee due on the first day of class.
Please wear comfortable clothes for movement and dance (no spaghetti strap tops and all shorts must cover the upper thighs) and bring a bottle of water and lunch. First week of class takes place at Swain House at Hap Magee Ranch Park. Second week of class takes place at the Village Theatre.
Final performance held on Thursday June 26 at 7PM.
