About This Activity
Description
For children ages 5 and under. Our instructors follow a plan to introduce new swimming and water safety skills that are developmentally appropriate for young children. In Preschool Swim, your child is introduced to the basic skills including entering and exiting the water independently, submerging, supported glides on the front and back, rolling over from the front to the back with support. The goal for this level is gliding on the front and back independently, rolling over independently and swimming on the front independently. Lifejacket safety will be a focus and the lifejackets will be used to promote safe swimming.There will be no classes the week of March 29-April 4 due to DPS Spring Break. The classes will still run for four weeks, with a week break during that time.
