About This Activity
The Whirlwinds Swim Team is more than just a team—it’s a community! Whether your child is new to swim team or looking to take their swim skills to the next level, we offer a fun, supportive, and team-driven environment where every swimmer can thrive. With excellent coaching, engaging practices, and exciting meets, the Whirlwinds provide the perfect blend of skill development, friendly competition, and lasting friendships. Our heated, saltwater pool and flexible practice options make it easy to fit swim team into your family's schedule. The Whirlwinds' Durham Summer Swim League season runs from May 12th to July 3rd, and includes six regular swim meets plus the Durham Summer Swim League Championship meet. Practices are held Monday through Thursday afternoons until school is out, then transition to Monday through Friday mornings.
