Get a Head Start on the Season! The Whirlwinds Preseason Program is designed for returning Whirlwinds swimmers and new swimmers looking to get a head start on their summer swim season. This spring program is a great opportunity to get acclimated to team practice, build endurance, and improve swim technique. Program Highlights: ✔ Focused practice sessions to improve skills and boost confidence ✔ Technique improvement for all strokes ✔ A head start on setting and achieving personal swim goals Who Can Participate? ✔ Swimmers who have previously participated on the Whirlwinds Swim Team or another organized swim program: or, ✔ Swimmers who are able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) while maintaining a mostly horizontal posture without assistance from the wall, lane line, or a coach. Preseason Meets We may host an internal swim meet based on participation numbers. While there are no competitions against other teams during the preseason, we are actively working on adding events and meets in the future!
