Introducing our new feature program! YMCA Tiny Tot Sports Club adopts a monthly draft design to combine convenience and variety for a sports experience your whole family enjoys. Parents, benefit from a set schedule and routine. Simply choose a sports club time and lock it into your calendar for the year. No more adjusting schedules "every eight weeks" or "session." Preschoolers, get your game on by developing skills across multiple sports with a new sport in focus each month. YMCA Tiny Tot Sports Club is the perfect platform to explore interests, make friends, and develop confidence and skills in our progressive Tiny Tot programming led by seasoned adult role models. Join us as we play our favorite sport - all of them!
Participants receive a Y Sports t-shirt during their first program registration of the 2024-2024 school year. Y Sports require no special equipment/uniform. Please wear athletic attire, gym shoes and bring a water bottle.
Why join the YMCA Tiny Tot Sports Club?Parents, we are here to help with your active schedule. Often, sports times change every eight weeks, practice nights are unknown at time of registration or leagues require you to freeze your whole day for varying game times. Enter the YMCA Tiny Tot Sports Club, where you can secure a consistent sports schedule for the school year while ensuring your young athlete enjoys exposure to a wide variety of sports, as they explore interests, develop skills and make friends in an organized group setting. Much like our YMCA Swim Lessons model, you register once and benefit from low, consistent monthly payments.
What sports will my child play? Each month will feature a new sport in focus. For example, September might be soccer, followed by basketball in October and flag football in November. The most popular sports for preschoolers will feature twice per year. All sports are adapted to motor skills, educational components, and developmental drills and games appropriate for this age. There is no need to worry about registering for a program and wondering if your child will take interest in the sport: YMCA Tiny Tot Sports Club will add continuous variety for the ultimate fun factor.
How does the monthly draft work?Register once and you are set for the school year. Dues are based upon an average rate of $11 per class for members and $16 per class for non-members. Based upon your time of registration, monthly drafts will very closely align with $44 per month for members and $64 per month for non-members, dividing the total remaining classes by the number of payments to achieve equal monthly amounts. Holiday breaks and up to two weather or operational class cancellations are factored into this equation. If you wish to cancel your draft before the end of the school year, please complete a cancellation format the YMCA front desk by the 25th of the month prior. An early termination fee equivalent to one month's draft will be assessed at that time.
What makes YMCA Tiny Tot Sports exceptional? As a leading youth development organization across the nation, YMCA Sports build character, confidence, skill and teamwork in an inclusive recreational setting. Fundamentals, friendship and fun are the cornerstones of our progressive programming. Each session will include a warm-up, character topic, designated skill focus, teamwork activity and fun skills application game. Plus, always look forward to a sticker at the end for a job well done!
