Description
YMCA Karate (Ages 5-13)Karate is a strategy for self-defense, as well as an individual performance sport that tests balance, coordination, and physical and mental strength. McGaw YMCA instructor Darius Prewitt brings 35 years of martial art instruction, providing a safe and ethical training that adheres to the values of discipline, personal growth and respect for others.
Participants receive a Y Sports t-shirt during their first program registration of the 2024-2025 school year. Y Sports require no special equipment/uniform. Please wear athletic attire, gym shoes and bring a water bottle.
No programming the week of April 21-25. Participants gain access to enjoy special Family Fun Gym programming during this time.
