About This Activity

Description

YMCA Youth Karate (Ages 5-13)


Karate is a strategy for self-defense, as well as an individual performance sport that tests balance, coordination, and physical and mental strength. McGaw YMCA instructor Darius Prewitt brings 35 years of martial art instruction, providing a safe and ethical training that adheres to the values of discipline, personal growth and respect for others. No uniform needed.
No programming October 8-14. Enjoy special family fun gym times and activities during this spirit week!
Participants receive a Y Sports t-shirt during their first program registration of the 2025-2026 school year. Y Sports require no special equipment/uniform. Please wear athletic attire, gym shoes and bring a water bottle.
