After a brief assessment on the first day of class, participants are divided into groups based on comfort in the water and swimming ability. Beginners focus on water adjustment and development of basic swimming skills such as breath control, floating, gliding, treading water and combined arm and leg actions. More experienced participants will expand upon these concepts and work to fine tune their strokes and breath control while increasing their endurance and learning new skills.
Late enrollment is accepted, but partial refund will not be issued for previous weeks of missed instruction. Please shower your child or children with soap and water before your lesson.
