Description
This two-day class focuses on providing youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care safely and responsibly for children and infants in the absence of parents. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave and learn about basic childcare and basic first aid. Certification for this class includes the participant's workbook, emergency guide, and an American Red Cross Babysitters Training certificate. Attendance is required for the entire two days to receive a certificate. Any exceptions need to be approved in advance by the instructor. The instructor will give the students a 15-minute break each day, please provide your child with a peanut-free snack.
