About This Activity
Description
Making and eating ice cream is a fun way to introduce early physics and chemistry teaching to children. Kids can become experts on this beloved treat and billion-dollar business as we make a batch of homemade ice cream without using a freezer! Also, explore the science of amusement park treats and the first ice cream novelty treat invented on a stick. Then sit down for the most outrageous ice cream contest in town. Did anyone say BRAIN FREEZE? Who will be crowned King or Queen? This is a child's dream class and all about putting the fun back into learning and building self-esteem. This class explores both Chemical and Industrial Engineering concepts, along with how this treat evolved. Don't wear your Sunday best to this event, we will get sticky! Lots of tastings, contests, and a themed souvenir included. Note: Please list any food allergies when you register.
