About This Activity
Description
Step into the world of 19th century farmers! This program will teach basic gardening skills along with historic methods of caring for and harvestings crops. This session will focus on fall harvesting techniques in preservation and how to prepare harvested food for winter use. Participants will also take home a preservation based project at the end of class.
