About This Activity
Description
At Big NC Tennis Our philosophy for Youth Programs is designed around fast paced, fun and repetitive drills. The thinking is straightforward, kids who like playing tennis like hitting tennis balls, less lines and more fun!
With a 4-1 coach to student ratio our focus is on fundamental technique, hand eye coordination, beginner rally’s and serves.Each player will be given a wrist band to denote level 1, 2 or 3. These levels tell our coaches whether they should be working on basic hand eye coordination (level 1), improving technique and fundamentals (level 2) or are close to match player (level 3)Please wear your wrist bands to clinics! Ages 8-12 (3 Level System)This class will be fast paced with education on basic form and technique. Our goal is getting kids ready to play a real tennis match! During the class kids will be divided into groups based on their skill level and will work in small groups on task that are specific to their needs.In this age group we begin focusing on character, teaching honesty in match play, and the hard work and dedication required to succeed in any sport.
Monday and/or Wednesday 5:30 – 6:30 and/or Saturday 12:00pm-1:00pm
Session 1: January 17 - March 4thSession 2: March 11 - April 29
You get to pick which day of the week works best for you and come learn how to play Tennis then! If you pay for 1 day, you can attend Monday or Wednesday or Saturday. If you pay for 2 days, you can attend Monday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Saturday or Monday and Saturday, etc... whatever fits your schedule best!
