THIS CAMP REQUIRES AN INSTRUCTOR RECOMMENDATION. Only offered at our Wollochet Bay location. Please review our Program Selection Chart if you’re unsure which camp to sign up for: https://gigharborjuniorsailing.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/GHJS-Program-Selection-Chart-landscape.png C420 Advanced Sailing is designed for sailors ages 12-18 who have progressed beyond our Intermediate camps and are ready for a greater challenge. Sailors who have not GRADUATED from Teen Intermediate should not take this camp. Sailors will be introduced to advanced boat handling techniques, racing skills, and new equipment including spinnakers and trapeze wires in Club 420 two-person sailboats. Participants should be comfortable sailing at high speeds and in close proximity to other boats. Please note all sailors at this level complete a capsize (tip over) recovery test the first day of camp. This is for safety purposes, and will be coached and supported by staff.
