THIS IS NOT THE JUAN VIDELA CLINIC - Please reach out to info@gigharborjuniorsailing.org if you want information on that program C420 Advanced Sailing is designed for sailors ages 12-18 who have progressed beyond our Intermediate camps and are ready for a greater challenge. Sailors who have not GRADUATED from Teen Intermediate should not take this camp. Sailors will learn the intricacies of sailing and racing Club 420 Sailboats, equipped with high-performance equipment including spinnakers and trapeze wires. Participants should be comfortable sailing at high speeds and in close proximity to other boats. Please note all sailors at this level complete a capsize (tip over) recovery test the first day of camp. This is for safety purposes, and will be coached and supported by staff. Please note the class location carefully as two separate sites are used for Summer Sail Camp programs. If you are enrolling more than one sailor, please check our master calendar or email us at info@gigharborjuniorsailing.org for help. Boats used at each site are: 420 (TYC Wollochet Bay) and FJ (West Shore Marina)
