About This Activity
Open to ILCA and c420 Sailors! This clinic focuses on the tactical and strategic side of racing, with the goal of helping sailors prepare for the championships coming up this season. Over two days, we will work through the concepts that tend to make the biggest difference on the racecourse: reading the conditions and putting together a race plan, starting well, working the shifts upwind, holding a clear lane, and handling crosses and mark roundings. Each idea is explained and then practiced on the water, with time afterward to review what happened and talk it through.
