Learn about Colonel Juan Bautista de Anza and the group of Spanish colonial settlers who, in 1775, made their first stop at Canoa Ranch as they began an epic 1200-mile journey from Sonora, New Spain to colonize the port of what is now San Francisco. Designed for ages 12 and up.
Mask wearing is recommended inside buildings and in crowded outdoor spaces.
Canoa Ranch or Historic Hacienda de la Canoa, 5375 S. I-19 Frontage Rd., Green Valley
From Tucson - Take 1-19 south to exit 56 - Canoa Road. Go around the traffic circle until you are heading east. Turn left (north) on the east side frontage road for about ½ mile and turn at the Hacienda de la Canoa sign on your right. Please carry water and wear sturdy walking shoes.Mask wearing is recommended inside buildings and in crowded outdoor spaces.
