About This Activity

Description

This is a blended learning course, which will include online content review. This content must be completed by August 24.
The precourse will take place on Friday August 14 at 5 p.m. Please bring a swimsuit, towel and goggles and be prepared to swim promptly at 5 p.m. Passing this precourse is mandatory before proceeding on to the full course.
Lifeguarding prepares the candidate to prevent and respond to emergencies in, on and around the water. Upon successful completion of this class, candidates will hold certifications in first aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED and Lifeguarding.
Candidates must be 15 years of age by the last day of the class.
