This level introduces back crawl, breaststroke, underwater swimming, feet first surace dives and standing dives. The focus will be increased proficiency and endurance of front crawl, butterfly, sidestroke and elementary backstroke.
Prerequisite: passing School Age Level 3. Children must be comfortable in 9 feet of water or greater and be able to swim a minimum of 15 yards without stopping. Children should know how to breathe to the side, tread water, demonstrate a whip kick and perform a sitting dive.

Location
Meet at the red barriers in front of the women's locker room. The instructor will take attendance there and escort the children to the poolside. Classes are held in the deep end of the 25-yard pool.
