This level builds on the skills introduced in Level 2.5, with guided practice in deeper water. Skills introduced at this level include dolphin and scissor kicks as well as basic diving. The focus will be increased proficiency and endurance of front crawl, elementary backstroke and treading water.
Prerequisite: passing School Age Level 2.5. Children must be comfortable in 9 feet of water or greater and be able to swim a minimum of 15 yards without stopping, demonstrating crawl stroke arms, whip kick, treading water and sitting dives.

Location
Meet at the red barriers in front of the women's locker room. The instructor will take attendance there and escort the children to the poolside. Classes are held in the deep end of the 25-yard pool.
