About This Activity
Description
This level introduces flip turns, sidestroke, survival swimming, long shallow dives and tuck and pike surface dives. The focus will be continued proficiency, stroke refinement and endurance of front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke.
Prerequisite: passing School Age Level 4. Children must be comfortable in 13 feet of water or greater and be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards without stopping. Children should know crawl stroke, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, back crawl, sidestroke, treading water and standing dives.

Location
Meet at the red barriers in front of the women's locker room.The instructor will take attendance there and escort the children to the poolside.Classes are held in the shallow end of the 25-yard pool.
