About This Activity
Description
Perfect for campers who love animals, Volunteer Camp: Animal Lovers gives students entering 6th–8th grade the opportunity to learn about animal care, welfare, and conservation while supporting organizations dedicated to protecting animals in our community.
Throughout the week, campers will visit and work with a variety of animal-focused organizations, gaining exposure to wildlife preservation, animal shelters, and rescue operations. Experiences may include educational presentations, behind-the-scenes tours, facility support, and age-appropriate service projects - all under staff supervision.
Campers will build empathy, responsibility, and teamwork while learning how they can support and advocate for animals now and in the future.
